How to get there:

Coming from Milan leave the autostrada A14 (Bologna - Ancona) at the Cesena nord exit. Proceed on the E45 through the Tiber valley towards Roma. (This is strada statale SS71 which will turn into SS3bis later on.)

Leave this road after approx. 130 km (80 miles) at the Gubbio exit. Turn right into SS219 towards Gubbio. This will lead you through a valley of a tributary of the river Tiber.

After 17 km (10 miles) at Mocaiana turn left in front of a little chapel (direction S.M. di Burano, from this point you will find signs leading to »IL FARNETO«). Immediately turn left again (after approx. 10 m [30 ft], direction S. Benedetto Vecchio). After about 2½ km (1½ miles) turn left and after another 500 m (1,500 ft) you are at your final destination »IL FARNETO«.
